Buddha Sanctuary

Buddha Sanctuary, Broome

The Buddha Sanctuary in Broome, WA offers daily yoga and a place for quiet reflection in our meditation garden. Built in 2003, the Buddha Sanctuary was created for the local community as a space for inner peace and stillness, through spiritual practise.

While we don’t favour one religion, the Sanctuary is home to a 3-metre tall crystal Buddha Guan Yin statue which anchors loving energy, and harnesses unconditional love and compassion – qualities strongly connected to this deity.

Today, the Sanctuary has become one of Broome’s main yoga hubs and meeting points, where like minds and hearts come together to be still, be aware, let go and simply flow!

The Sanctuary is open to visitors daily (7am- 10am / 3pm- 6pm)* offering yoga classes Monday to Saturday with highly experienced (and super lovely!) yoga instructors.

*Please note, February and March is our quiet time so please check updated opening hours on our Facebook page.

Our offerings include; Hatha, Sivananda, Iyengar and Elemental yoga – all of which are open to everyone, no matter where you find yourself in your practise.
