Ocean Breathing

Mar 28, 2024

Ocean breathing is a very powerful technique for letting go. It can be done anywhere by closing your eyes and visualising the waves on the shore, but we recommend practising it in a quiet place on the beach if that's available to you.

This technique aligns your breath with the waves.

As the wave comes to the shore, you inhale - deep and long inhalation. As the wave leaves and returns to the ocean, you exhale - deep and long exhalation. You see yourself becoming one with the ocean.

When you’ve found your rhythm with the waves, you imagine the ocean carrying out the disharmonious energy - your worries, stress and negative thoughts. And, as the wave returns to shore, imagine it bringing life energy, loving energy and filling your body with light. That's it!

Repeat this cycle seven times to begin, making your way to 14 and 21 repeats as you progress with it, and find your flow.
